iBIO Institute will honor the recipients of the 11th annual iBIO iCON Awards in Chicago, considered by many to be the region’s most prestigious honor for life sciences educators, researchers and civic visionaries. Among the honorees is Decatur Public Schools teacher, Elizabeth Bartimus. Bartimus will receive the 2017 iCON Knowledge Builder Award for her dedication to bringing science to life for her students through real-world applications of learning.
