Johnson Science Center Expansion & Renovation

Listen Later

Over the next few years the Johnson-Dixon Science Center will undergo a $40 million renovation and addition project. This initiative will transform the Science Center into a 130,000 square foot state-of-the-art research and teaching facility to accommodate the multi-disciplinary needs of the biology, chemistry, physics, and psychology departments, as well as the environmental studies and neuroscience programs. To assist with the project, the College has engaged the architectural firm Stantec to provide design services and Pepper Construction to serve as the general contractor. Pepper Construction served as the contractor on the recent expansion and renovation of our Sports and Recreation Center.
Michael Reagan, the senior architect on this project, provided an information session on Thursday, January 29, 12:00-1:00 PM in McCormick Auditorium for all students, staff, and faculty.
