Join Me and David Zweig for a Special Book Launch in Berkeley

Listen Later

Hey everyone,

I'm excited to invite you to what promises to be a fantastic event in Berkeley on Saturday, April 26th. I'll be having a conversation with my friend and fellow investigative journalist David Zweig to celebrate the launch of his new book, An Abundance of Caution.

I've long admired David's meticulous research and fearless reporting. He has done some of the best work on the failures of pandemic policies. This new book represents years of careful investigation into the reaction to COVID-19 and its impact on our communities — especially the evidence-free push to close schools for extended periods and force masks upon children.

The event starts at 3pm and will be held outdoors at a private residence (unless weather forces us inside). Your $48 ticket includes:

  • Our conversation about the book followed by audience Q&A

  • A FREE copy of the book (retail price $40)

  • Delicious food from a local taco truck

  • Plenty of beer, wine, and other refreshments

If you've already preordered the book, this is a perfect opportunity to get an extra copy to share with someone else. Neither David nor I are making any money from this event - the ticket price simply covers the discounted book, food, and drinks.

I strongly encourage you to secure your tickets NOW for two important reasons:

  1. The event could sell out quickly

  2. The free book offer will end soon as these need to be ordered in bulk well before the event

This book matters. In an era of information overload and competing narratives, David provides careful research and fair-minded storytelling. His account is the best historical record of this unprecedented period.

Looking forward to seeing you in Berkeley.
