Music galore for this show from 6-8pm each Sunday! On the The Phil O Show at Solihull Radio as Phil Oldershaw welcome's Matthew Gallagher, who is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Preston, Lancashire. His extensive experience in live performance has seen him both playing and opening for many respected and critically acclaimed artists.
Matthew’s an advocate for Hammond organ, Fender Rhodes and vintage valve and reverb amplifications, this combined with his love of analogue techniques gives his music it’s distinctive vintage, psychedelic sound.
Following a successful tour of the USA in September 2019, Matthew released his debut single ‘What I Know’ in November with follow-up single ‘Entwined’ being released in December.
Alongside his solo projects, Matthew plays Hammond Organ for psych-rock band Moon and the Beams and Wille and the Bandits who are currently on their UK tour.
Genre: Blues, Rock, Country, Americana, Funk, Soul, Folk.
