In this concluding chapter we see a borderline suicidal Jonah. Why is he so grumpy? Because God is merciful to the people Jonah doesn't like. We see a twisted heart. And the Bible provides a mirror into our very souls. How do we act when God doesn't do what we think He should do? How do we handle the difficult nature of following Jesus. Jonah ends with a challenge. Will we love people with God's heart or Jonah's?
