I left Haifa , Israel , at age 16, after enduring my Mother's death and a not so easy relationship with my father . Since then it's been hard to connect my early years to my present life . It's been a life's work to connect those two parts into something whole . Jonathan Cohen is part of my early years - so this conversation has a lot of meaning for me on many levels. We have different memories and perspectives. It's always interesting to hear somebody else's take on things . And it's amazing to me that the world that I left behind is still happening right now. Jonathan shares his memories of my father , my mother and life in our little corner of the world during those formidable years of childhood.
