Listen Later

Jonathan Glater is Assistant Professor of Law at UC Irvine School of Law. His areas of expertise include higher education law, criminal law, corporate law, white collar crime and securities fraud. Prior to joining the faculty, Professor Glater for nine years worked as a reporter at The New York Times, where he wrote about the business of law and about higher education finance. In this episode of UCI Law Talks, Prof. Glater unpacks the nuances of student debt and effects on higher education. He argues that talking about student loans in terms of a “crisis” may be missing the true challenge.
