"The First Lady" Khris Hutchinson talks about her career as one of the first nationally and internationally known DJ's in her field. She discusses her experience at WKKC-FM Chicago and looks at the landscape of House Music in the past and in 2018.
She also has a unique story about her husband Hugo Hutchinson, differences in NY and Chicago radio and so much more.

Born and raised on the south side of Chicago, First Lady is a radio/ television personality, a Billboard Award winning Radio Music and Program Director, International, DJ Hall of Fame, pioneering DJ, and the FIRST Female DJ to play House Music on the radio, she was also a member of the FIRST ALL FEMALE House Music DJ team (The Fantastic Four), as well as, The First Female Mixer on Chicago radio, (WGCI-FM 107.5 in 1986.)
With over 35 years of experience in the broadcast communications and music industry, First Lady has worked with some of the biggest names in the business, including; Farley JackMaster Funk, Steve Silk Hurley, Lil Louis, Hugo H.
In 2015, First Lady was inducted into "The Frankie Knuckles Lifetime Achievement Award DJ Hall of Fame" by The Chosen Few DJs, as well as, the recipient of the 2006 Billboard Hip Hop and R&B Award for APD/Music Director of the Year and ranked #17 on the list of "The Top 30 Black Women in Media" by Radio Facts.

Jonathan Hood has been in broadcasting for over 25 years and
for the last decade, Hood has hosted "Chicago's Gamenight with Jonathan Hood" on ESPN Radio Chicago.
He expanded his sports talk to a worldwide audience with the ESPN Network as one of the hosts of the "Dickerson & Hood" show, heard weekends on over 350 affiliates in the U.S. and on-line on espnradio.com
Hood also hosts shows on the Sirius/XM NBA Radio Channel with various partners and former NBA players and executives.
He has also covered sporting events such as the Superbowl, NCAA Men's Basketball Final Four Tournament and the World Series.
Previous to his ten years at ESPN, he worked as a producer and on-air personality (The J-Hood Show) on WSCR- The Score in Chicago, the first all-sports radio station in the city from 1994-2005. At the Score, he was an innovator, providing the audience with non-flagship post game content and interacting with calls on Chicago sports.
Hood is also the radio/television voice of UIC (University of Illinois-Chicago)Men's basketball and baseball teams.
