Jonathan Ronzio is a multi-sport mountain athlete, content creator, motivational speaker, and award-winning filmmaker whose mission is to create inspiration through action. In 2012, he and a couple of his friends bought a one-way ticket to Chile where their goal was to climb the highest peak in South America and then travel all the way to Alaska where they would climb the highest peak in North America, but the special part was that they would volunteer in service for a week in each country they stopped in along the way. This journey was documented in the film, Between the Peaks, which won Best Feature Documentary at the Mountain Film Festival. This isn't his only date with adventure, as he has climbed Mt Kilimanjaro, splitboarded in Mt. Rainier, and scaled the snow-covered mountain of Denali. He is also the host of the Stokecast Podcast where he speaks with athletes, adventurers, and entrepreneurs to help inspire others to live the best, balanced, fulfilled versions of their lives. As if that wasn't enough, he is the founder of Explored Inspired, a brand devoted to achieving your highest potential and doing what you love and co-founded a software company called Trainual that helps small businesses get systemized.
In this episode, Jonathan and I talk about the importance of believing that you can figure anything out, why taking action before anything else is so crucial, and how sharing what you learn can be a deeply fulfilling experience.
