  • The Philadelphia Eagles announced they aren’t going to the White House after their Super Bowl win

  • The SAG Awards happened

    • Martin Short won his first SAG award at 74 years old

    • Timothee Chalamet became the youngest Best Actor winner in SAG Awards history

    • And Conclave won Best Picture, which basically opens the Oscars WIDEE up

  • There has been a potential massive measles exposure at Texas State University over the weekend, plus like 9 new cases of measles has crept over the Texas border into New Mexico

  • Trump named former secret service agent turned MAGA podcast host, Dan Bongino, as Deputy Director of the FBI

  • Joy Reid’s show on MSNBC was shockingly cancelled

  • 3:38am - Apple announced that they’re planning to invest more than $500 billion in the US and hire 20,000 people over the next four years - coast to coast - with jobs focusing on research & development, silicon engineering, software development, and AI and machine learning

  • 6:00am - Starbucks announced the layoffs of 1100 corporate employees - so not the baristas, but like Seattle HQ, as they “look to simplify the structure by shedding redundant roles and creating smaller, more nimble teams”

  • 6:10am - A federal judge blocked the Department of Education and the Office of Personnel Management from sharing sensitive information with Elon Musk and his DOGE people

  • 6:19am - Lululemon signed F1 star Lewis Hamilton as its newest ambassador

  • 7:25am - Grammy-winning singer Roberta Flack died at 88-years-old

  • 7:26am - Jonathan Van Ness from Netflix’s Queer Eye, shared before and after photos of their DRASTIC 66 lb weight loss journey, via help of weight loss drugs

  • 7:57am - Franky Venegas, one of the twins from the hip-hop duo Island Boys was arrested in Florida on gun and drug charges

  • 8:05am - Lester Holt announced he’s leaving “NBC Nightly News” this summer, moving full time to “Dateline”

  • 8:20am - Wu-Tang Clan announced their final tour for the summer of 2025

  • 8:41am - Ru Paul’s Drag Race star, Shangela, has been sued for sexual assault according to a new lawsuit, this comes nearly 1 year after the last lawsuit was dismissed

  • 9:02am - The United Nations adopted a Ukrainian resolution demanding that Russia immediately withdraw its forces from Ukraine. The US sided with Russia in voting against the resolution.

  • 9:44am - Passengers on a Delta flight in Atlanta were forced to evacuate the plane via slides after a haze or smoke was observed inside the plane

  • 9:58am - The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo will be performing at the Oscars

  • 10:09am - After filing bankruptcy and failed attempts to restructure failed, Joann Fabrics will close all of its stores, with a liquidator agreeing to buy all its assets

  • 10:42am - Pope Francis is showing slight improvement, but is still in critical condition, the Vatican reports

  • 10:52am - Donald Trump announced that Putin would accept European peacekeepers in Ukraine as part of a potential deal to end Russia’s war there

  • 12:20pm - Lizzo announced a new single, “Love in Real Life”, out this Friday

  • 12:22pm - Trump announced that the 25% tariffs on Canada and Mexico will once again go forward

  • 12:55pm - A small plane crashed near Fort Worth, TX

  • 1:00pm - NY Democratic Lt. Governor Antonio Delgado announced that he will not be running for reelection with current NY Democratic Governor Kathy Hochul in 20261:42pm - Marlon Wayans confirmed that he’s looking to do a White Chicks sequel 

  • 2:26pm - NY Democratic Governor Kathy Hochul responded to her Lt. Governor’s statement
