The discussion becomes personal this week as Dave's wife, Joni Burchett, drops by to tell her story. From a childhood feeling responsible for protecting a father who would eventually take his life to discovering a love for special needs children, Joni couldn't have protected the path her life has taken. A special needs child of her own and a cancer diagnosis in her 50s reveal life hasn't been a fairytale for Joni, but she's survived and found postcards from God along the way. Though unlikely to want to ask for help, Joni has discovered the value of allowing people to help during rough times.
