Internationally respected epidemiologist Jonna Mazet returns to A Shot in the Arm Podcast after being recently appointed Vice Provost of the Grand Challenges initiative at University of California, Davis —  a program aimed at responding to the world’s biggest problems. She joins Ben to discuss the need for a multidisciplinary approach to building trust in science, as well as the biggest lessons scientists have learned from the two-year battle against COVID-19.
