The Washington Wizards lost to the Los Angeles Clippers 121-96. Jordan Poole returned after missing two games with a sore left hip flexor. He scored eight points in 24 minutes. Jonas Valančiūnas and Malcolm Brogdon both scored a team-high 17. Kyle Kuzma only played eight minutes and missed the rest of the game with a sprained left rib. This is the Wizards’ 13th consecutive loss.

James Harden got off to a hot start, scoring 23 points in the first quarter. He scored 31 in the first half, which is his most points in a half since 2020, with the Houston Rockets. He finished with 43 points, the most he has scored in a Clippers uniform.
