Jorddan Myrick was born and raised in Holland, MI. His grandmother and his mom raised him until his stepdad came into his life when he was five years old. Jorddan was a star athlete in Holland on every newspaper article and the news channels as a basketball player. As he entered high school, his life changed dramatically. He got a basketball scholarship offer he was always searching for in high school from Central Michigan University. This episode talks about his mental health growing up in a small town and being in the limelight as a mixed kid. We also talked about how his life changed dramatically at CMU and how that impacted his mental health in the future as a man.
