Jorge Gutiérrez is an Emmy Award winning animator, painter, writer and director of the Golden Globe nominated animated feature film, The Book of Life. The story takes place on Dia de los Muertos, also known as Day of the Dead–a holiday celebrated on throughout Latin America that honors the dead with festivals and lively celebrations. The film has an incredible cast and was produced by Guillermo del Toro. In this interview, Jorge encourages us to write our own life stories.
