Joseph C. Gioconda spent years as a Catholic seminarian, which preceded his further career development in the secular world. He earned his law degree from the prestigious Yale Law School and is now a trial lawyer. He is a member of the Historical Novel Society.

His third book, a novel called Salem's Ropes, is due to be published in October 2021. Inspired by true historical events and figures, Salem’s Ropes is the story of America’s oldest and darkest secrets.
