Joseph Fenity is an award-winning writer and one-time documentary filmmaker. His fascination with all things audio led him to his first radio job while he was still in high school. He later helped pave the way for podcasters around the world when he launched one of the first-ever podcast series — just months after the term “podcast” entered into the dictionary. He’s been heard on SIRIUS XM and published in ROLLING STONE. He’s obsessed with music, all things 90s and currently fascinated with the “drop-in” audio app, CLUBHOUSE, where he recently hosted a non-stop 17 ½ hour conversation. His writings have been published by various outlets including Rolling Stone and Out Magazine. Joseph helped pioneer the “podcast” format back in the mid-2000s when the San Francisco Bay Guardian awarded his groundbreaking podcast with its “Best of the Bay” award. He currently hosts the live video webcast FENITY FRIDAY every Friday night on Facebook, YouTube and on fenity-dot-live (fenity.live 9/8c). Joseph also produced the award-winning 9/11 documentary short “Project NYC” The 2002 film sheds light on the untold story of how the events of September, 11th 2001 affected the youth of America and New York City. Now, 20 years later, he is actively working on an updated re-release version.
