Proclamation!

Joseph in Egypt

Listen Later

Proclamation! For the eleventh Sunday after Pentecost, 16 August 2020
Reverend Shelley McVea explores the Old Testament story of Joseph and his time in Egypt. The first born of Rachel, Joseph was his father’s favourite son. His brothers hated him for that and sold him into slavery. Joseph rises out of slavery and becomes the head of the Pharoah’s granary. How does Joseph react when those same brothers come to him during a famine, asking for food?
