This is the story of Joseph Meister, a nine-year-old boy who was the first to be given the Rabies vaccine. The Vaccine was developed by and one of the fathers of germ theory, Louis Pasteur after five years of work. This is the story of how Pasteur took a great risk in giving the young child his cure.
