Joseph (Joe) Richards is a recent graduate from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Wildlife & Fisheries Sciences and a double major in Entomology. During his early professional career, Joe served as a seasonal technician for the Rolling Plains Quail Research Ranch tracking radio collared quail and monitoring nesting success. In 2021, he worked for Colorado Parks & Wildlife radio collaring neonate elk calves. In his free time, Joe enjoys hunting, fishing, and outdoor writing. Joe learned photography through his dad and brother from an early age. The years have been filled with morning sits in deer blinds, long afternoons searching for wildlife, and photography trips to Wyoming, Florida, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Oklahoma, and South Africa. He has since published images in Lone Star Outdoor News, Texas Wildlife Magazine, LAND Magazine, Pheasants Forever, The Wildlife Professional, and Texas Parks & Wildlife Magazine. Joe is also an Eagle scout, a former docent for the San Antonio Zoo, an active member of Texas Brigades and The Wildlife Society and is highly involved in church activities and mission trips.
