After interpreting the dreams of the cupbearer and chief baker, Joseph is eventually released from prison in order to interpret Pharoah's dreams. Pharaoh exalts Joseph to second-in-command over Egypt. Joseph becomes the savior of 'all the earth' through famine and pictures the coming Savior of the world, Jesus Christ.
