Josh served in Iraq with 3 Para and following an injury which prevented him serving in Afghanistan he eventually did deploy there for 3 years as a NATO cameraman, during which time he survived over 50 fire fights with the Taliban. Josh serves now as a pastor of a church in Woolwich East London.
