Body image, self worth, body dysmorphia, gluttony, and sexual immorality...the way we see these things would all be changed if we would see ourselves & bodies as God sees them. In this episode I debrief a message I taught out of Exodus 19 where God's presence dwelled in a place described as "thick darkness". There are times that God we cannot find anywhere, even though know He is everywhere, and even if we can find the presence of God is the place, it is the place we are most afraid or unmotivated to go to.

It's when you can't feel God, but you clearly feel everything else, that it is the easiest to want to give up. When you serve God but don't see any results, that's when the Enemy's voice is the loudest and God's voice seems silent. For over 10 years of my life I couldn't break free from the cycle of lust—going clean for a few days or even weeks, only to relapse deeper into it. You’re not a failure because you failed, so don’t give up—keep showing up. For the longest time I fled from battles for fear of failing God or falling in them, but that is not what God wants. Because we are saved by His perfect grace through our faith in Him, God does not want fearful servants but faithful ones. It is safer to fight on the frontlines alongside God than to flee into the arms of the Enemy.

God is calling me and the men and women of God in this generation to stand up instead of sitting on the sidelines, to advance with courage instead of sitting in complacency.

Yes, we will stumble and fall, but it is better to fall trying to obey God than to succeed in disobeying Him.
