Big Idea: God is great, God is good.

We are rapidly increasing our pace through the book of Joshua this week.  This is not because there are not incredible truths for us to uncover in the middle chapters of Joshua, there are plenty and it will be benificial to everyone to read through them in all of their "tedious" detail.  These chapters culminate in the theoligical heart of the entire book, 21:43-45.  We need these chapters with all of their detail because they record how the Lord who saves keeps all his promises to the very last detail.  As you read through these chapters look for three major themes: 1) The record of God's faithfulness. 2) The reality of God's providence. 3) The responsibility of God's people.
