Big Idea: Finish faithful.
The book of Joshua began where every good book begins, in the middle. The book of Joshua ends where every good book ends, with a cliffhanger. We are left asking the question, "Will they be faithful?" The God who saves has kept all his promises. Will this people fulfill their responsibility and serve him alone? As Joshua calls the people together he charges them to choose who they will serve. From his charges we learn that the people of God must be steadfast, we must be set apart, and we must be surrendered.
