In Joshua 316 Israel finally crossed the Jordan into the land that God had promised them-The Promised Land.  We often find Israel as a symbol or metaphor for those of us who walk with Christ.  So what is our promised land, what is the wilderness, and what is the Jordan river; that final barrier that stands between us and living in what God has promised us?
