* If God was going to magnify Joshua on “this day” that means he was minimized on other days.

* God was going to give Joshua a bigger platform because he was accustomed to a smaller one.

* What did Joshua do to deserve this?

* He was faithful!

* His faithfulness on the small platform gave him the favor for a bigger one.

* All of his other days prepared him for “this day.”

* John the Baptist - “I must decrease so He can increase.”
