In this episode, I have a conversation with actor and playwright Matt Talbott. Matt has written a one-man show called "Reptile." During our chat, we talk about his career in the performing arts, his inspiration for writing this piece, and the process he uses to write and rehearse the show. Reptile is about a white male who struggles with the image of the country he loves through personal stories, the history he was taught in school, and the sins of the past that have shaped him, and the country. The show is directed by Larry Cambell (of T.V.’s According to Jim) and will be performed on February 4th through the 6th at Center Stage Theater in Santa Barbara. For tickets, call 805-963-0408 or log onto www.centerstagetheater.org.
