Mariana explained three things that must be done to restore the economy which fell after the Covid-19 pandemic.

First we have to stop saying that we have no money. We have to create fiscal space to invest in all very important areas which then lead to the mission of health for all

Secondly We need to direct investment in health for all to reorient economic activity around health. We need to establish a symbiotic public private relationship. We need business, and we need public actors

Thirdly we say that we need to manage public and private finances for health for all. We must constantly remind ourselves that more money is important but it is not enough if we are to change the underlying economic thinking, policies, and obscurity that keeps taking us from one crisis to another.
