Hello Everyone!!
I'm Anin Asila Devi
In journal week 14, I will read you some news.
✔️The first news with the title is Covid Vaccine Protection Wanes Within Six Months New Study Suggests
News description:
More than three-quarters of adults in the UK now have two doses of a vaccine covered, but how long that protection lasts is a crusial question. Expert research from the Zoe Covid Study team shows evidence that vaccines lose some of their effectiveness over time. It was found that protection from infection with both pfizer and Astrazeneca vaccines reduced slightly within 6 months from the second dose but still prevented severe disease. Experts say it is necessary to monitor immunity levels to make a three month, six month prediction when a boster might be required. Experts also say that now all it takes is to prepare for a challenging period quickly. Mortality will remain low as research shows the vaccine works
✔️The second news with the title is Australia Declares La Nina for Second Straight Year
News description:
Australia's weather bureau said a La Nina weather phenomenon had developed in the Pacific Ocean for the second year in a row that could bring above average rainfall across the country's centre, north and east. The weather event could boost Australia's wheat yields and also result in a less severe bushfire season. La Nina events normally last about a year but climate models suggest this year's pattern will be short-lived, persisting until the late southern hemisphere summer. The United States weather forecaster said La Nina continued over December-February In Australia, triggering floods across parts of Queensland and inland New South Wales states.
✔️My Experience :
My experience after practicing the new vocabulary that I got from the two news, I feel very happy because the new vocabulary that I get is rarely found in everyday conversation so that it enriches my vocabulary list. In addition, the new vocabulary helps me develop better sentences so that when I practice it in my daily life, I can speak better, fluently and without convoluted. I think practicing vocabulary can improve my English skills, so I'm more excited to practice more.
Thank you
