What most excites the heart of a teacher?  Seeing his students progress in knowledge and skill.  Although Jesus' students were often daft, from time to time, they experienced a 'growth spurt'.  This passage is one of them  Do you think Jesus would consider us to be a quick study in the things of the Lord?
