Today we see Paul writing 2 letters from his house arrest awaiting his appeal to Caesar. He encourages the Corinthian church to remember who they are in Christ and to beware of false teaching. Then he writes to Philemon encouraging him to receive his former slave as a brother in Christ since he has accepted the Gospel message.
