How cool would it be to be on the mountain with Jesus when he gets a visit from some Old Testament Heavyweights!? I'm sure the disciples were utterly amazed watching Moses and Elijah chit-chatting with Jesus. In Acts, the Jews are plotting Paul's murder but his nephew happens to overhear their nasty plan and springs into action. I love how God puts people in just the right spot to make sure his plan moves forward! And we end today by beginning the book of Leviticus! I will admit, I don't currently have many reference points in Leviticus but I am ready for that to change! God is taking the time to teach the Israelites how to be Holy in a culture that was anything but that. Kind of sounds like where we are at today! Don't become so well adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God - you will be changed from the inside out!
