Hailing from the rich cultural breeding ground of Philadelphia, Joy Again is a quintet right at that vital point in their career between just starting out and truly figuring out their sound - in this case, that means their songs shift from fast and punky to experimental and atmospheric folk at times - but what’s clear already is that they’ve got some big ideas, musical chops, and a lot of energy to put to good use. We were psyched to have them stop by Serious Business Music in DUMBO, Brooklyn to get a look at them as they work towards their debut full length.
