GNFT: JOY!

Proverbs 15:22-23 NKJV

Without counsel, plans go awry, But in the multitude of counselors they are established. [23] A man has joy by the answer [response] of his mouth, And a word spoken in due season [in its time], how good it is!

Ecclesiastes 3:1,7 NKJV

[1] To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven: [7] A time to tear, And a time to sew; A time to keep silence, And a time to speak;

Habakkuk 3:17-19 NKJV

[17] Though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls- [18] Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

1 Thessalonians 5:16 TPT

Let joy be your continual feast.

Joy is:

• Joy is a fruit of the Spirit (Gal 5:22)

• Joy is a weapon (James 1:2)

• Joy is a command (1 Thess 5:16) connected with prayer and thanksgiving

• Joy is a force of God flowing from the Spirit of Truth (Neh 8:10)

• Joy is a supernatural response to natural circumstances (Hab 3:17-19)

• Joy is continuous fellowship with Jesus (John 15:17)

• Joy is of the heart (Gal 5:22)
