This week, we have Joy G. Wild, who is joining us from Istanbul, Turkey! On this episode, we talk about how Joy accidentally discovered Bobbi’s pole studio in Sydney while looking to train Chinese Pole—and how she became instantly hooked and changed her focus from circus performance to contemporary pole; the struggles of opening and running the first pole studio in the conservative country of Turkey; her experience being deemed “immoral” and attacked by the press for doing a pole performance on the television show Turkey’s Got Talent; and her passion for empowering women and literally changing lives by continuing her work as a pole instructor and evangelist in her home country.
