This psalm talks about God’s protection over us. I may explain the O.T. misunderstanding of “health and wealth” gospel, but it will be secondary to the main message of
Our protection is in our position in Christ. There are voices that whisper to our hearts about our failings. Your looks are ugly, you’re worthless and won’t amount to anything, Etc. God’s protection is in what God says about you…not other people! Joy can flow out of that.
