President Akufo- Addo has justified the imposition of the Electronic Transaction Levy (E-Levy). He emphasized that it has become necessary to tax the mobile money industry. The tax, which has been opposed by sections of the public with some describing it as an obnoxious tax, was passed last week by Parliament.
