Our midweek Lenten series has explored what took place In Jesus' life on the three days between Palm Sunday and Maundy Thursday. Tonight we examine the more familiar events of Thursday evening during Holy Week.

Jesus and His disciples gather for the Passover supper. The celebration joy of the Meal was turned to sadness as Jesus revealed that He would be betrayed by one of His own. Jesus inserted words of His death into Passover meal that confused His disciples as to what the following hours would hold for Jesus and for them. Yet those words turn our sadness into joy as we face what lies ahead of us.
