In our fourth week of ADVENT... JOY NOW AND FOREVER.
God is faithful and loving not only in the past, but also in the present and the future. Rachel leads us in reflecting on Mary’s story as she is humbled and filled with joy when she finds out that she will give birth to the Son of the Most High whose Kingdom will never end. The reading is from Luke 1:39-55.
“My soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has been mindful of the humble state of his servant." (Luke 1: 47-48)
