Joy is often viewed as an emotion that changes like our other emotions - sometimes we are happy and sometimes we are not. But joy and happiness are not the same thing. Joy is more stable than our emotions because it’s not tied to our circumstances - joy is not an emotion. We need look no further than our relationship with God for our joy!
