Assin Fosu in the Central region has been identified as a hotbed where serious organised crimes in the country are been perpetrated by some cartels. Deputy Head of Legal and Prosecution at EOCO Leo Antony Siamah however, said the major hurdle in cracking down on their activities is the strategic alliance these criminals have built with influential persons including politicians.
