The Minority in Parliament have slammed the National Health Insurance Authority’s plan to spend 245 million Ghana cedis to purchase Ghana cards for all children between the age of 6 and 14. Haruna Iddrisu says the expenditure on children's Ghana card is reckless and it is not the responsibility of the authority to be purchasing Ghana cards when it struggles to settle claims.
