Speaking on the Super Morning Show earlier today about the origin of the highlife genre, renowned Ethnomusicologist Professor John Collins said it used to be music for just the elites in society. Mark Okraku Mantey who was also on the show said the responsibility lies with Ghanaians to protect the highlife genre.
