Join pastor Brian as we walk through the book of Philippians and examine how we, as believers, should have every reason to be joyful.

This week, we will look at Philippians 1:27-2:18 and see three pledges believers must make to be unified around the Gospel:

1. "Whatever happens, I will conduct myself in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ Jesus." (1:27-30)
2. "I will, in humility, value others above myself, having the same mindset as Christ Jesus." (2:1-11)
3. "I will do everything without grumbling or arguing to become blameless and pure." (2:12-18)

The BIG IDEA surrounding these verses is that when believers are one in spirit and of one mind for Christ, personal preferences, people’s personalities, and public prerogatives do not matter because we hold firm to the Word of life — Jesus.
