The James Younger trans case is about a 7 year old boy who is caught up in the custody battle between his mother, Anne Georgulas and his father Jeff Younger. His parents have been appearing in family court trying to decide if his mother, who wants to affirm his possible transgender identity will have more custody over him, or if his father who wants to 'watch and wait', will have more power over his son's future.. This story has a lot going on it. It covers topics such as the influence of culture, the family court system, gender identity and the use of puberty blockers at a young age before possible transitioning, parenting and a child being stuck in between two individuals with different worldviews.
