Hello family. Desire or hunger in our walk with God is so important. While praying, having no desire to speak to God is like not having our heart stayed on God while speaking to Him. When we speak to someone that more interested in our heart than what we say, we will realise why there has to be desire while praying. If we pray without desire, it will be like we are mumbling words_hence, effective communication won't occur. Most of us see prayer as a mere routine or a set of memorized phrases. This shouldn't be. We should desire to pray to God because God always desires to talk to us. This should be one sided. 'Desire precedes prayer, accompanies it and is followed by it. Desire goes before prayer and by it, created and intensified'_E.M Bounds. We should have desire while praying and we should pray for desire while praying. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled.
