Juan 1:1-14 es el Prólogo del Evangelio según Juan. Este es probablemente el pasaje más teológico de Juan. El tema más importante de los versículos 1-18 es que Jesucristo es el Hijo de Dios, y Dios mismo. También hay un gran énfasis en cómo el Verbo, que es Jesucristo Dios el Hijo, el Hijo de Dios, se hizo carne, en otras palabras, el Dios eterno se encarnó y habitó y ministró entre los hombres, para que TODOS los que creyeran en Él fueran salvados.
