The judgment of God is a hard topic to think about. It can often be used in manipulative ways and weaponized against people. It can also seem contradictory to God's message of love and welcome. For these reasons, we can often want to avoid Scriptures that speak about God's judgment. But what if correctly understanding the truth about God's judgment was a path toward experiencing even more profound levels of His love? What if part of why we can live in guilt and shame is because we don't understand God's judgment and how that connects to His love?
