* Notice they shouted for the Lord and for Gideon.

* Why?

* Because Gideon’s reputation was a part of God’s plan to defeat the enemy.

* The Midiantes already knew he was one bad dude (vs 14).

* His name had become synonymous with God’s strength.

* So Gideon was willing to use his name to bring about a great victory.

* We need to live our lives such that our names are synonymous with God!
